Okay, let’s break the ice, Who are you, and where are you from?
Hi! We’re Armando Zubia and Ashley Guillen and we live in Santa Fe Springs.
How and where did you two meet?
We met our sophomore year of high school, we both had the same Spanish teacher but different periods and we had a project that required us to make a video and my partner and his partner wanted to join up and here we are 
Do you have any children, or plans for some?
No,no kids for us YET. So yes we want kids but for now we’re enjoying being with one another first
What are some hobbies you two have as a couple?
Well together we like to go to Disneyland! We love that place! Also watch movies,in theatre and at home, play video games, and be with friends and family.
SPILL THE BEANS! How did he propose?
Ok here it is, the most important night! (ashley)It was on valentines day 2012 and to my understanding we were just going to dinner, so that we did, we went to Bubba Gumps(our favorite restaurant) on the pier in Santa Monica and we were running late because of parking so we parked in a restricted zone and tried to enjoy dinner and we did but sure enough we had a ticket on the car when we got back :/ so now we are on the way back home (i live in a coulda sack) and when we get back Armando asks me “you wanna dance with me?” then he started to hum the beat to “I’ll be Seeing you” by Billie Holiday just like in The Notebook and all of the sudden the song actually came on(his friends were in a car controlling the music) so we start dancing and it’s all such a blur and with “flightless bird” by iron and wine in the background Armando gets on his knee and proposed! My parents were peeking the entire time! That was the happiest day of my life.
What was the moment that made you, Ashley, know Armando was the one?
I knew Armando was the one because no matter when I see him I get this tug it makes me so excited and that has never gone away, I see him now and us now and I cannot be happier we’ve grown so much in our relationship and I can’t wait to grow even closer and start our lives together.
What was the moment that made you, Armando, know Ashley was the one?
I realized she was the one the moment she came back to me and showed me the happiest days from then on. That moment is still going and it will last lifelong and beyond now that we have promised ourselves to one another.
Do you two have a date set yet?
No,no set date but we were thinking sometime next summer
Any plans or special details yet?
No set plans just sort of talking and looking at pictures
What do you feel is the most important part of you wedding?
We feel the most important part of our wedding is the pictures! (no really) because we want all those special moments captured and other than that US!
Why do you want Kimberly Gifford Photography to photograph your special day?
I want Kimberly to photograph my wedding because I love her! I know she has an artistic eye and a passion for photography and we’ve been friends for a while now and couldn’t see anyone else sharing my day with me!
